As the name implies, hardwood flooring is extremely durable with a natural beauty that will last a lifetime if cared for properly. Hardwood flooring is available in two basic forms: solid wood boards, or laminated boards that have a surface veneer of real hardwood along with a sub-construction of other woods that add thickness and ward against warping. Each is available in various widths and lengths and has the added advantage of being refinished or restained if so desired.
